Hi, I’m Anna!
Registered Dietitian
Hi! I’m Anna, Registered Dietitian, with a Masters Degree. I am a firm believer that food is medicine, both for the body and mind.
No matter what your goals are, I support eating delicious food that makes you feel good. No chicken and rice on repeat (unless that’s what you like!). My goal is for you to confidently make positive food choices, form lasting habits, and manage a variety of diseases. Let’s talk about food!

Why I Do This Work
I became a dietitian because I think our bodies are amazing! (And I won’t let anyone tell you differently.) There are so many voices telling you what to think, eat, and how to look. I strive to be a supportive voice for you, sharing knowledge and experience in order to help you set and reach your health goals.
As someone living with type 1 diabetes, I have a specific interest in how food affects blood sugar control. I felt empowered to be able to take control of my chronic disease and I love being able to help others feel the same way. No matter what your concern is, I look forward to helping you feel confident in your daily dietary choices and health decisions.
My Nutrition Approach
I believe long-lasting results happen with small, consistent changes in diet and physical activity.
I use a whole-body approach: addressing the fact that so many factors outside of our eating habits affect our health, such as stress, sleep quality, and our environment.
Knowledge is power. Unfortunately, we are in the age of fad diets, nutrition-related influencers, and overall misinformation. I use evidence-based practices to provide care and I help others determine what is fact vs fiction when it comes to nutrition advice.
I want to meet you where you are at in your health journey and provide guidance to help you achieve your goals!
More About Me
I live in Southeast Michigan with my husband and two small kiddos. I am an adventurous eater and am always looking for new restaurants and foods to try. In my free time, I enjoy making memories with my kids through endless library trips, visiting the animals on the family farm, and trying out new recipes in hopes of achieving the highest number of ‘thumbs up’ from my kids (current score to beat is 1000 thumbs up!).
